<div data-pm-slice="1 1 []" data-en-clipboard="true">In 'Date Night' &mdash; the latest short film in Tiffany &amp; Co.'s "About Love" campaign &mdash; the Carters ooze chemistry as they pay tribute to one of pop culture's most enduring icons, Breakfast at Tiffany's.</div>

Beyonc&eacute; and Jay-Z are a couple that are notoriously guarded about their private lives. Fans have been given scintillating peeks into their relationship over the years &mdash; especially with Beyonc&eacute;'s 2016 album, Lemonade &mdash; but the couple's latest project with American jeweller Tiffany &amp; Co. offers up one of the most intimate looks into their relationship yet.

Tiffany & Co. — “Date Night” (He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not)

In the two-minute film, the Carters sling through Manhattan in the backseat of a Rolls Royce, stopping periodically for New York staples of pizza and Armand de Brignac champagne, all against the dreamy background of Paul Anka's Put Your Head on My Shoulder and Bert Kaempfert's Three O'Clock In The Morning. The film's setting is a nod to the climactic scene in Breakfast at Tiffany's, where Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard reflect on their relationship in the back of a taxi &mdash; and ultimately discover that they are indisputably in love with each other.

And just as sparks flew between Hepburn and Peppard on screen, the chemistry between the Carters here is palpable as well. The duo loll against each other with a coy, relaxed familiarity. They exchange private, coquettish glances. They're even joined, at one point, by eldest daughter Blue Ivy, and all three of them goof around. In all, it's an intimate, endearing look inside one of the world's biggest power couples. &nbsp;
In 'Date Night', the Carters don an assortment of incredible pieces from Jean Schlumberger, one of Tiffany &amp; Co.'s longest and most famous collaborators. The standout piece is, of course, the legendary Bird on a Rock brooch, which Jay-Z wears. With its 44 ct morganite heart and a glided bird wrought of platinum and 18 k gold, the pendant remains one of the 21st century's most iconic pieces, making it a fitting match for an industry titan Jay-Z.&nbsp;

Beyonc&eacute; also dons two classic Schlumberger designs: An Ailsa diamond ring of over 10 cts, and a pair of Ribbon Fan earrings with diamonds of over 6 cts.&nbsp;
As part of the campaign, more films with Beyonc&eacute; and Jay-Z are slated for release later this year, all directed by Dikayl Rimmasch, the acclaimed cinematographer who also worked with Beyonc&eacute; on Black is King and Homecoming.&nbsp;

ABOUT LOVE (Director’s Cut)

The Carters made headlines last month when Tiffany &amp; Co. unveiled their collaborative campaign with the couple, titled 'About Love.' The campaign looks to explore the various dimensions of love; 'Date Night' shows off a more playful, lighthearted version of a relationship.&nbsp;
"We were never a celebrity couple," said Jay-Z in a separate interview. "We were a couple that happened to be celebrities. We are real people."

The Carters have always been private people, but in recent years, they've started speaking out about their relationship &mdash; ostensibly because they understand the impact they can have on people.
&ldquo;For a lot of us, especially where I grew up and men in general, we don&rsquo;t have emotional cues from when we were young," said Jay-Z in a 2018 interview. "Our emotional cue is &lsquo;Be a man. Don&rsquo;t cry'."

Of his relationship with Beyonc&eacute;, he added: &ldquo;We love each other, so we really put in the work for years... For us, we chose to fight for our love. For our family. To give our kids a different outcome. To break that cycle for black men and women."
As part of Tiffany &amp; Co.'s collaboration with the Carters, the house has also partnered with the couple's personal charities, the BeyGood and the Shawn Carter Foundation, to create the Tiffany &amp; Co. About Love Scholarship Program. A total of US$2 million in funding was pledged to fund scholarships for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the US; so far, the scholarship has been awarded to some 50 students across the country.
