Michael Kors London Flagship Now Open
Right in the heart of Regent Street, London, sits the spanking new Michael Kors flagship store. Offering up a new design concept and carrying the full range of menswear options, the store is the largest flagship store by the brand in Europe.
Spanning three floors and measuring 16,275 square metres, the flagship brings a mix of modernity to the iconic location. Step through the doors, and a pale and weathered limestone entrance that leads to the rest of the store, greets you. From the mix of neutrals with various textures and materials in the interior to the specific areas housing the brand’s various collections, the new location will serve as a truly sophisticated space.
The biggest feature however, is the new men’s wear area on the lower-level that boasts a masculine interior while offering modern sportswear, suede, leather outwear, dress shirts, ties and leather goods.. The color gray is seen in the smoked mirrors and marble display cases while the rest of the décor is made up of custom-built features and fixtures of blackened and polished stainless steel. You’d be forgiven in thinking that this is a man-cave for the lads, with its full-size pool table and custom seating, rather than a shopping experience. The whole look is completed, with black-and-white photography.
“Our Regent Street flagship illustrates the evolution of the Michael Kors brand and the scope of our commitment to the business in Europe,” says John D. Idol, Chairman and CEO of Michael Kors. “This new European flagship enables us to present the full range of our luxury offering, including our exciting and fast-growing menswear line.”
