The 11-piece capsule embodies Max Mara's smart tailoring — the essence of modern workwear. The brand's signature Teddy Bear coats will come in new fabrics and fine-spun wool take on denim, presented in different colors: camel, white and pink. An androgynous double breasted blazer with personalized gold buttons, stylishly slouchy wide legged pants, a strict pencil skirt and a princess dress make up the rest of the range.
It goes without saying that Max Mara's Teddy Bear Coats are the must-haves of the collection. "We created two plush new additions to the family; one in natural camel hair and silk, the other in white wool and silk, both cut short and straight for trans-seasonal utility," says Ian Griffiths, Creative Director of Max Mara. "Hand-stitched double-faced cashmere is the mainstay of the Max Mara wardrobe. For the exclusive capsule, we presented a chic hooded wrap coat in lustrous ruby red, a new style executed with traditional techniques that can be worn with featherweight cashmere and silk knitted in the same shade for a complete look."
The collection launches globally on MyTheresa.com from 16 May.
