Louis Vuitton dives into its own archive to make these sustainable items

In Louis Vuitton's new sustainable Felt line, a Keepall, a SoftTrunk and a long winter coat - designs from the first LV show by artistic director Virgil Abloh - have been updated with the idea of reuse and creativity.

Together with artistic director Virgil Abloh, Het Huis unveils the Felt Line collection: three iconic leather goods. The three designs are made from various eco-friendly materials, including organic cotton and recycled wool jacquard, 100% recycled polyester from existing stock and recycled plastic for the finishes and details. Responding to environmental challenges while maintaining high standards is a testament to the creativity and competence of Abloh and Louis Vuitton. But it also serves a greater purpose: to have 100% of the products made through 'eco-concept' by 2025. So they lead by example.

The Keepall, the XS-Keepall and the SoftTrunk, first brought by Virgil Alboh during his first parade, illustrate Louis Vuitton's commitment to circular creativity. These three iconic accessories reflect a responsible and sustainable sophistication, also translated into a ready-to-wear design: a long winter coat . Inspired by moving blankets, underrated but essential, the collection is functional and protective, for you and the environment. They make us dream of travel and are the inspiration for this new chapter for Virgil Abloh - who has been with the house since 2019.

Here's sustainable luxury done right.
