Longchamp and Charvet Recreate Le Pliage for Spring/Summer 2022
In perfect celebration of French savoir-faire and art de vivre, Longchamp and Charvet are partnering up to give us this upcoming season’s it-bag.
Charvet, the purveyor of the finest French linen tea towels, is joining Longchamp to recreate the iconic Le Pliage. The Longchamp x Charvet Le Pliage Torchon white linen tote bag is bordered with a vertical red and blue stripe (emblematic of the French bleu-blanc-rouge) and finished with a flap, handle, and shoulder strap in Longchamp’s distinguishable Russian leather. This light-hearted design is your next go-to companion for lazy and hot summer days.
Following the collaboration, other variations are to be expected on Le Pliage, notably one in white cotton with red check patterns, symbolic of French bistro tea towels. As such, the season capsule will consist of two top handle bags with removable shoulder straps, a pouch with a handle, and a phone case on a leather lace.
Tea towel stripes and checks are also apparent throughout Longchamp’s Spring/Summer 2022 ready to wear collection.
