K-Pop Sensation LE SSERAFIM Wore Custom Louis Vuitton at Coachella 2024
The stylish quintet sang some of their hottest hits in looks designed by Nicolas Ghesquière himself.
The first weekend of Coachella just wrapped and K-Pop girl group LE SSERAFIM made their debut at the sought-after global music festival in custom Louis Vuitton no less. The group was seen in all-black ensembles with two-tone sequin accents which mimicked the French House’s Damier print and leather boots that were inspired by the Maison’s signature silhouettes. An undeniably cool fashion statement for the rising girl group. What makes this stylish performance even more special is the fact that it was personally designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women's collections.
On Kim Chaewon, Nicolas designed a black boxy leather jacket with a wide belt, a black leather mini-skirt with metallic eyelets, as well as a Damier top embroidered with two-tone silver sequins. Hong Eunchae on the other hand sported a Damier cropped shirt, embroidered with black and silver sequins, and a black padded leather high-waisted miniskirt with large zip detail. The Damier motif runs throughout all the outfits and Huh Yunjin wore it as an asymmetric mini skirt, embroidered with black and silver sequins, a matching strap bandeau top, and a black oversized sleeveless leather jacket.
Then there are the Japanese members Kazuha and Sakura, who both wore statement cropped pieces. Kazuha wore a Damier cropped tank top with long shoulder straps, embroidered with dark green and silver sequins, paired with a black asymmetric wool gabardine fluid skirt with leather belt detail. While Sakura wore a black wool cropped bolero jacket with jewelry buttons, a Damier cropped bandeau, embroidered with two-tone silver sequins, and a high-waisted leather mini tulip skirt.
Hopefully, this isn’t the first and last custom look by Nicolas for the girl group, as LE SSERAFIM’s highly-anticipated second Coachella performance is right around the corner.
