Get Physical: Layla Ong Strikes A Pose In Saint Laurent

Glamour meets our desire for solace, with a collection high on comfort and suppleness, while retaining the maison’s sleek and ultra-luxe sensibility

Our months of life under lockdown and prolonged periods at home has left us with the desire for clothes that come with ease and comfort, something that Anthony Vaccarello took heed to when conceptualizing Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection.

This search took Vaccarello down the YSL archives into the fluid jersey dressing of the French fashion house in 1968. What we get is an exercise in chic, but with a softer edge - think minimal suiting, graphic jumpsuits and shift tunics, for a wardrobe that is gentler, stripped down, and guaranteed to be timeless classics to come.
