Art Comes to Life with Sacai x KAWS' Latest Collaboration

The dialogue of whether fashion is art is an often debated question, but the functionality of fashion does not make it less – or more than art. In recent years, both mediums have transpired between the multitude of fashion-art collaborations in different permutations as a reflection of our society at that time. The latest collaboration “Wearable Art” by Sacai x KAWS is no exception, reflecting KAWS’ original artwork and vivid camouflage-inspired strokes into classic Sacai silhouettes, marking founder and designer Chitose Abe and KAWS' long-lasting mutual friendship and admiration.

The collection features both men’s and women’s wear as well as unisex items such as T-shirts and hoodies. The line also includes pieces that display Sacai’s ingenious hybridization techniques pairing different materials together in an unconventional way. 

Sacai x KAWS collection launches Friday 16th July in-store at Sacai Hilton Singapore and Dover Street Market Singapore
