A Summer of Luxury with Dioriviera, Dior's New Summer Capsule Collection
Dior celebrates luxurious summer living with a brand new capsule collection including ready-to-wear fundamentals and beach day living essentials.
The Dioriviera summer capsule collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri for Summer 2022 invites us to get away on a holiday. Continually reinvented, the collection plays with the House’s fundamentals – from toile de Jouy to bayadère stripes – ready-to-wear, leather goods and shoes are illuminated with fluorescent shades – blue, orange, and pink – a palette inspired by the Fall 2022 creations.
The toile de Jouy is a timeless symbol revisited by the Creative Director of Dior’s women’s collections and is featured on skirts, dresses, shorts, and swimwear. Dway mules, DiorAddict sandals, ponchos, scarves and bobs are to be enjoyed along with marinière sailors’ tops bearing the names of dream destinations. The collection wouldn’t be complete without the House’s iconic accessories.
The Dior Book Tote, Diorcamp bags, as well as the Dior Travel clutch – the fashion statement of the season – are adorned with this classic toile de Jouy pattern. As a special surprise, the iconic Lady Dior is now reinvented in an embroidered version, the Lady D-Lite Bag.
Embellished with the “Christian Dior '' signature, which completes its bold architectural lines, this piece echoes the Dioriviera capsule collection’s vibrant shades and is bedecked in the toile de Jouy as an expression of the French art de vivre.
If a new wardrobe isn’t enough, the Dior Maison essentials envisioned for summertime are also being unveiled. A surfboard emblazoned with the “Christian Dior” signature, a skateboard, a pool mattress, a parasol, beach games and fans is to be discovered. A series of decorative objects, stationery, cushions, and placements prolong this celebration of bon vivant.
Starting from May 2022, the line is to be discovered in several pop-up and resort stores around the world – from Mykonos to Tokyo, from Taormina to Bali, via Capri II Riccio, Chengdu, Sanya, Montenegro and in Montauk – from June in seven Dior boutiques in Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Monaco, Portofino, Capri, Marbella and Porto Cervo.
