Apart from the economic aspect, the pandemic is certainly an&nbsp;emotionally trying period.&nbsp;John Legend, Charlie Puth and Chris Martin are&nbsp;supporting people who are in self-isolation with their performances at home. Lady Gaga appears to be concentrating her efforts towards fighting the effects of COVID-19, and has even delayed the release of her next album. To date, she has&nbsp;raised a total of $35 million&nbsp;with <a href="https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/">Global Citizen</a> to provide protective gear for health workers and develop vaccines.&nbsp;

She also announced that she has co-curated&nbsp;<a href="https://variety.com/2020/music/news/one-world-together-at-home-telecast-lady-gaga-paul-mccartney-lizzo-billie-eilish-global-citizen-who-1234571901/">One World: Together At Home</a>, a benefit concert that will be live streamed on April 18, with hosts Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert. Apart from Lady Gaga, the&nbsp;special will also feature appearances by Billie Eilish, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Elton John,&nbsp;John Legend, Paul McCartney, and Stevie Wonder.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have stepped up with a&nbsp;US$1 million to Feeding America and Food Banks Canada. &ldquo;Take care of your bodies and hearts. Leave room for joy. Call someone who&#39;s isolated and might need connection,&rdquo; said Reynolds in an Instagram post, with&nbsp;caption: &ldquo;I think we can all agree, Covid-19 is an asshole. If you&rsquo;re able to help, visit, @feedingamerica and @foodbankscanada.&rdquo;

Justin Bieber&nbsp;

Justin Bieber announced earlier in February on Instagram that he was donating US$29,000 to the Beijing Chunmaio Charity Foundation, a Chinese-based children&#39;s&nbsp;charity. &quot;Watching the news I couldn&#39;t imagine how scary it would be if a new disease was affecting my wife and my family and my friends. China we stand with you as a collective humanity and have made a donation to support. Whether it be this or the fires of Australia we all need to be there for each other,&quot; he said in the caption of an Instagram post detailing this donation.&nbsp;
