Last night, Adele announced that she will make her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live on October 24. While it won’t be the Grammy-winning singer’s first time on SNL — that honour goes to her 2008 performance as a musical guest on the sketch comedy show — it will be her first time hosting a television show, ever.

“Bloooooody hellllll I’m so excited about this!! And also absolutely terrified!" the star wrote in an Instagram post about her new gig.

Since launching to worldwide fame and critical success, Adele has grabbed headlines with her record-breaking talent. Her SNL stint only adds to a number of major milestones in the singer-songwriter's career — in honour, L’Officiel rounds up her most memorable firsts.
