Violette is Guerlain’s New Creative Director of Makeup

Known for her creative and fresh approach to beauty, Parisian flair, and impressive experience within the industry, Violette will offer her knowledge to French beauty brand Guerlain as their new creative director of makeup.

The makeup artist recently launched her own successful line of makeup in April 2021 called VIOLETTE_FR, creating fun beauty products that focus on being safe, sustainable, and affordable for people to use. Much like her line, Violette will be applying the same philosophy to Guerlain — with a special focus on going more sustainable than they already are. “As a pioneer, the Maison Guerlain must show commitment by becoming environmentally involved and engaging with femininity in a broad and diverse way,” says Violette in her official statement.

As a young woman who has made a name for herself in the beauty industry, Violette is also in tune with the power of her femininity. She will be using this as a driving force during her partnership with Guerlain: "My story with Guerlain is really the story of my femininity… As a little girl, Météorites with its little pastel-coloured pearls for the complexion had a real aesthetic impact on me. I'd stare at the box fascinated; I couldn't wait to become a woman… I pictured myself at my dressing table putting on lipstick, perfume and dipping a brush into these incredible Météorites. Today, I've been invited to write the next chapter in Guerlain's history as Director of Makeup. That's the magic of beauty."
