Following the success of L’Officiel Singapore’s Beauty Awards in 2020 and 2021, we're conducting our first-ever Spa Awards this August to recognise the best spas and beauty services in Singapore.

Join us as our team of judges (industry expert Melinda Yon, entrepreneur Wirda Elliesa, and ju-jitsu champion Constance Lien, and the L'Officiel Singapore editorial team) assess the many body, facial, aesthetic, and wellness therapies available in the market to help you determine what works best for your skin, what you should invest in, and filter through the up and coming spas in the industry this year.

The Spa Awards will feature five broad categories with multiple subcategories. Each spa and treatment nominated will be judged based on a total score of 30 points:

  1. Quality of Treatment (/10) – How good was the treatment? Were the quality of the products/ machines used during the service up to standard?

  2. Efficacy of Treatment (/10) – How did the judges' skin/hair/body feel post-treatment? Did the treatment live up to what was promised on the pamphlet?

  3. Quality of Service Provided by Staff (/5) – How was the service provided by the staff? Did they go out of their way to ensure a good experience for the customer?

  4. Cleanliness of Spa (/5) – How clean was the spa? Do they sanitise their stations regularly? Does it live up to hygiene standards, especially during Covid?

To qualify, each nominated spa must provide a minimum of 2 complimentary sessions per nominated treatment for judges to trial. Each spa is only allowed to nominate a maximum of 3 treatments in the awards. If more than 3 treatments are nominated, L'Officiel Singapore will pick 3 at random to be assessed. Trials will be conducted from April till the end of June.
