Out of a desire to offer something unique to the world, Alexander Herdahl-Thorsing founded HERDAHL-THORSING, which over time grew to be New Zealand's only luxury boutique fragrance and beauty house. In 2017, the line launched online, with years of work as a priority. The brand founder himself says, "HERDAHL-THORSING is my journey into trying to create my version of this absolute perfection with every creation, fragrance and skincare range. It never feels perfect enough, so my creative hunger grows to capture that beauty."

Alexander has always had this attachment to the world of art and beauty. Which all stemmed from his fascination and obsession with old religious paintings. With the passage of time, he found that this attachment became the focus of his creativity. Much of his creative vision can be seen via the brand marketing shared on their social profile.

The entire range of fragrances that HERDAHL-THORSING presents is produced by the brand's founder himself in New Zealand. He happily announces that the official launch of the new range of fragrances and skincare will take place by the end of the year, with the name 'The Aulelei Blend', Aulelei meaning "beautiful" in Samoan. This collection is a tribute to the travellers and adventurers, sailors and ocean voyagers who brought our world together.
