Cannes Film Festival: The 3 Fashion Divas
[caption id="attachment_17534" align="alignnone" width="800"] Image from Runway Manhattan[/caption] If you have been living under a rock or simply taken a hiatus from social media and the Internet in general, we wouldn’t blame you for not knowing that the Cannes Film Festival is underway. While we have already shared our top looks from the opening night, it doesn't hurt to pick out a few of our fave red carpet divas who've slayed it night after night. First up is the woman who really should be crowned the queen of the Cannes red carpet. I mean… [caption id="attachment_17533" align="alignnone" width="800"] Images from Runway Manhattan[/caption] Our favourite accessory from her look, is the subtle baby bump that she showed off. Proving that maternity-wear never has to be frumpy, the actress showcased several different looks, such as the naked dress by Atelier Versace (extreme left), and several pieces that brought to mind "Disney Princess". Her white Vivienne Westwood number and blue Atelier Versace gown with a side split, make us wish they would just do a live-action Disney princess flick with Lively in the lead already. If the looks alone don't convince you that she has fashion running through her veins, one must remember that all her ensembles are put together without the help of a stylist. Next up, we have a model and social media darling who has stepped out from the shadows of her famous sibling. Bella Hadid proved to be just as sensational on the carpet as she is on the runway. [caption id="attachment_17532" align="alignnone" width="800"] Images from Runway Manhattan[/caption] She left very little to the imagination with her red Alexandre Vauthier Couture number. It was a mystery how she made it up that flight of stairs, while managing to avoid the mother of all mishaps. She started off the festival four days before in a nude Cavalli Couture gown that was coved in sequins, which was certainly more modest but still a head-turner in its own right. Jury members are just as fashionable during Cannes, a fact proven by our third and final pick, Kirsten Dunst. From her pink Gucci gown that brought the term "flower power" to full bloom, to the white Christian Dior piece that evoked memories of silver screen starlets, Dunst has been another head-turner this year. Plus, she added to the yellow trend with a decidedly sunshiny Dior creation. Until then, we have no doubt these fab style queens will have a firm hold on their crowns.
