Epicurean Market 2017

Marina Bay Sands' annual gastronomic event returns for its fifth year with even more gourmet delights from world-class Michelin-starred chefs. This year's edition sees the return of the ever-popular Farmer’s Market – plus other highlights to kick things up a notch. Visitors can look forward to the Singapore Street Food experience set in a traditional two-storey shophouse, the Kampung Bar (featuring cocktails inspired by local cuisine), an exciting lineup of masterclasses led by industry experts, and the chance to run shoulders with renowned chefs Tetsuya Wakuda (Waku Ghin), Nancy Silverton (Mozza), David Myers (Adrift), Ralph Scamardella (LAVO), John Kunkel (The Bird Southern Table & Bar) and David Thompson (Long Chim).

Bulgari SerpentiForm

Epitomising seduction, rebirth and transformation, the serpent has long been intertwined with jewellery house Bulgari. Come 19 August, guests will get to witness how the versatile motif has inspired the world of jewellery, art, design, fashion, and photography at Bulgari's SerpentiForm. The exhibition will showcase ancient jewels, antiquities, and contemporary artworks by Marc Chagall, Keith Haring, and Joan Miró (amongst others) and culminate with a stunning display of Bulgari's own Serpenti archive collection dating back to the 1950s.

Cirque Du Soleil returns to Singapore this July with KOOZA, a new production which pays homage to their roots. The KOOZA story follows "The Innocent" who represents the child within us all, as he takes a journey of self-discovery through a kingdom of eccentric characters. Combining spectacular acrobatics and jaw-dropping feats with the art of clowning, the spectacular show features an international cast of 50 acrobats, musicians, singers, and actors from 19 different countries.

Singapore Night Festival 2017

The iconic annual night festival is back – this time, it's celebrating a milestone decade of heritage, arts and culture in the Lion City. Set to the theme of ‘Ten Magical Years’, this year's edition promises to be bigger, brighter, and louder with interactive art installations, video projections, and street perfomances by roaming musicians and magicians in the Bras Basah/Bugis district.

YAYOI KUSAMA: Life is the Heart of a Rainbow

Discover the creative vision of one of the world’s most influential artists at Life is the Heart of a Rainbow, an exhibition by Yayoi Kusama. Taking place at National Gallery Singapore, this is the first major survey of her work in Southeast Asia, focusing on the immersive and expansive nature of her paintings, sculptures, videos and installations from the 1950s to the present. Step into her infinity mirror rooms, explore the development of her intricate nets, dots and pumpkin motifs, and encounter new paintings in which the artist continues to push artistic boundaries.

This year’s festival revolves around the theme of Jane Bennett’s definition of enchantment; based off her book 'The Enchantment of Modern Life'. Set across various venues island wide, you’re sure to be ‘enchanted’ by intriguing indie films, art installations, and dance performances. Key figures participating in this year’s festival include producer Jeffrey Tan, cartoonist Sonny Liew, theatre-maker Edith Podesta, choreographer Daniel Kok, with productions by Pangdemonium, Nine Years Theatre, K. Rajagopal and more.
