Affordable Art Fair 2017

Running for the eighth year, Affordable Art Fair (AAF) returns this weekend as the leading contemporary art event in Singapore. Taking place from 17 to 19 November at the F1 Pit Building, the autumn edition will showcase over 65 exhibitors from all over the world – and true to its name, majority of the art pieces will be priced under S$7,500. Visitors can expect a mix of original contemporary artworks in many mediums and style by international, regional and local artists.

17 to 19 November, F1 Pit Building. Open 12-6pm (Fri), 11am-8pm (Sat), 11am-6pm (Sun).

Urban Ventures Street Party x House of Noise 2017

Having just wrapped up its seventh edition, Urban Ventures is returning to Keong Saik Road for the ultimate year-end street party. Get set for a day of art, music, food, and culture with interactive installations, F&B pop-ups, a Christmas market, and musical performances by Astronauts, ROYAL ESTATE, and other homegrown acts.

Singapore's largest and longest-running film event returns for its 28th edition. Bringing together the best of international film and Southeast Asian cinema, this year's Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) will celebrate the 15th anniversary of two iconic local films – Jack Neo’s I Not Stupid and Colin Goh and Joyceln Yen Yen Woo’s Talking Cock the Movie – alongside a lineup of film screenings, master classes, fringe events, and industry discussions.

23 November to 3 December, various locations.

Christmas Wonderland 2017

Christmas wouldn't be complete without a trip to the Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair. Returning for its fourth edition, Christmas Wonderland transforms Gardens by the Bay into the festive affair of the season – complete with carnival games and rides, Santa's Grotto, an ice-skating rink, and a festive market. Highlights of the event include the magnificent Luminarie light sculptures located around the Gardens and – for the first time ever – a  spectacular performance by the highly-acclaimed Circus Abyssinia.
