The seasons don’t just bring new clothing collections and collaborations. They also bring out some innovative designs from brands known for their timepieces. One such revelation is the first automatic watch for women by Swarovski that made its debut at Baselworld.
There are several new designs as well as updates. The star of the lot is the Crystalline Hours. Measuring 38mm, it is part of the Fall/Winter 2016 collection by the brand. Derived from the original Crystalline watch line, the new timepiece sparkles thanks to the 4,000 crystals that sit embedded on the dial.
The domed sapphire-crystal, which protects the dial, allows the user to view the artistry of the design as it changes under the light. A versatile piece, it morphs from understated in the day, to elegant and sophisticated in the evening. Designed with the help of top watch designer Eric Groud,, the timepiece also has a touch of mystique. The creation is completed with an embossed crocodile watch strap and stainless steel case in rose-gold colour.
