They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and with Bulgari’s new Serpenti jewellery collection, Eyes On Me, you have little chance to resist. The new designs include rings, bracelets and necklaces that are crafted in a way that immediately draws your attention to the eyes of the snake. From Cleopatra to ancient Greece, the serpent has always been associated with sensuality, strength and the circle of life; with Bulgari, the creature has been a long standing symbol of its heritage and innovation.
The almond shaped eyes of the serpent are compared with that of a woman; with an attraction that can captivate yet alter the course of history with a single gaze. The Serpenti designs take inspiration from the Bulgari serpents of the ’60s and ‘70s. Featuring another technique from the era, Bulgari uses the hexagonal scale pattern as a motif on the designs. Using metals and precious gems, the motif mimics the scales of a serpent perfectly.
The jewellery has been designed to move effortlessly from day to night, an idea that Bulgari has been proud of since the ‘80s. For the new collection, the modern woman can choose between charming pink gold, white gold and gold as well as designs paved with precious stones.
Prices for Bulgari’s Eyes On Me Serpenti Jewelery collection will start at S$2,860. The collection will be launched in July.
