There are contouring products, and then there’s the New Dimension Expert Liquid Tape by Estée Lauder (S$110), a product that actually tightens your face instead of just making it appear as so. Think of it as a real-life photo-editing app, where you can instantly lift droopy eyes and sagging cheeks with just a couple of strokes.

Similar to glue, the Liquid Tape contains fast-acting polymers that give a tightening effect as it dries. To be used after cleansing and before applying any other product, dispense a pea-sized amount of the liquid tape on the tip of the flexible applicator and glide over the following target areas: from the outer brow bone towards the temple, cheekbone to temple, corner of mouth to the cheekbone, and any other spots that require a little more help. Let it dry fully for two minutes, then proceed to the rest of your skincare and makeup regime, taking care to gently pat on products and not break the tape in the process. For something so revolutionary, the application is a breeze. Watch Estée Lauder’s Blair Patterson, director of global makeup artistry, put the product to the test in the video below.
