Another season of Dior Homme, another film collaboration with Willy Vanderperre. Kris Van Assche ropes in his favourite photographer of choice to create the still and moving images of his Fall/Winter 2015 campaign. Called Paris XVIE, the film follows American model-actor Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl, Very Good Girls, A Walk Among The Tombstones, Little Accidents) as he spends a day about Paris. He fiddles with a harmonica one moment, hops on books in another and dances across a wooden floor in a tuxedo before taking a sweet ride about town,  picking flowers along the way all the while. It’s pretty random, quirky almost.

Vanderperre explains the film, “We wanted somebody that we could explore the filmic idea with further, and it was Kris that suggested Boyd. He plays the part of an American in Paris walking in different parts of the city, picks and preserves flowers as his memory of those places. He dances in his apartment as a nod to Gene Kelly and those big, emotional films at the end.” Watch the film above and see the still images of Holbrook in the gallery below.
